The Studio — The Studio is CHI’s most popular gathering space, known for its open layout, eclectic vintage furnishings, and warm, lounge-like atmosphere. Framed by oversized industrial windows and original brick details, the space blends moody sophistication with playful character, complete with a disco ball overhead and thoughtfully curated seating vignettes throughout.
This side also includes a small kitchenette, separate serving area, flexible floor plan, and direct access to both of CHI’s outdoor patio spaces, making it ideal for intimate celebrations, cocktail-style receptions, dinner parties, showers, creative workshops, and corporate gatherings alike.
Fully furnished with vintage couches, layered textures, original artwork, and collected pieces from over the years, The Studio offers a setting that feels both elevated and effortlessly comfortable.
The Gallery is a collection of three interconnected rooms designed to create a more immersive event experience. Rich textures, dramatic lighting, original artwork, and curated vintage furnishings give each room its own distinct personality while still feeling connected to the overall atmosphere of CHI.
The front room is most often used for large buffet-style food displays during full lower-level events, though the oversized communal table also lends itself beautifully to intimate seated dinners. The lounge-style theatre room features plush seating, an oversized projection screen, and additional flexible floor space that works beautifully for cocktail tables, bar seating, presentations, photo booth setups, movie nights, game days, or relaxed conversation throughout the evening. The third room offers additional dining and conversation space centered around a large round table, creating a more intimate setting tucked within the larger event flow.
When paired with The Studio for full lower-level rentals, The Gallery side naturally becomes the primary food and dining area, while The Studio serves as the social hub for cocktails, mingling, music, and lounge-style entertaining.
